I was inspired to write this piece by a song I discovered last night...

The Devil Within

                                     The Devil Within

                              The Darkness crawling through my veins,

                                                                 Clawing at every corner of the mind,

                              Throbbing through my arteries, creeping through my heart,

                                                                  Peeping across the alleys in my brain,

                              Flashing out through my eyes, 

                                                                   I can feel it deep inside, 

                               Roaring for freedom, trembling with rage,

                                                                   Tearing at the walls of my body,

                              Intruding into the purity of my own self,

                                                                   Turning me to a Devil

                               I can't keep control of

                                                                    The devil within.............
