Alone

Hello. Greetings to all.
So I am here after a very long time.
Had been a bit busy.
So here goes a poem I wrote recently
                    Alone
I am alone, 
A deathly silence echoes through my mind 
I feel engulfed by my own loneliness 
As time flows by, 
I am alone, yet I am not 
They are always around me 
Stalking me across every dark alley
Peeping from the shadows, 
Crying for peace, 
They live in a world unknown to us 
A void, deprived of any feelings, 
I look around, round the corner, 
Across the dark alley, into the shadows, 
I realize I am left all alone........ 

The Mask

The Mask

The mask hangs on the wall,

It stares at me from there,

At night, the jewel on its head glimmers;

In the darkness, its eerie smile flickers;

We both stare at each other,

We try to reach out to each other,

But as sleep overcomes me,

The mask hides away in the darkness of the night.
